Inspiration is easy. Starting is the hard part.

Pinterest was full of home improvement ideas people loved saving, but inspiration alone wasn’t getting projects made. For Lowe’s, we turned popular Pinterest projects into fast, snackable how-tos designed to make DIY feel instantly doable.

Using Instagram’s then-new Hyperlapse feature, HyperMade transformed entire home projects into playful, single-take videos, compressing the journey from idea to finished project and helping people see that inspiration could become reality.

The work extended Lowe’s growing reputation for inventive social utility, building on its award-winning short-form DIY content. Contemporary coverage highlighted HyperMade as a new way for Lowe’s to use emerging social technology to make home improvement feel simpler and more accessible.
